Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels or "Six-Pack"
The "OUPV" license is for uninspected passenger vessels 100 tons or less which are limited to six or less passengers for hire.
This is a 56 hour class.

Master up to 100 Tons/Upgrade
The Master's license is for operating small passenger vessels carrying more than six passengers for hire. These vessels are inspected and carry a USCG Certificate of Inspection. This is an 80 hour class. We offer an upgrade course from OUPV to Masters. Our upgrade is a 24 hour class.
Assistance Towing Endorsement
Assistance towing means towing a disabled vessel for consideration. OUPV and Master Licenses may be endorsed for assistance towing. An assistance towing endorsement on a license as master or operator authorizes the holder to engage in assistance towing on any vessel within the scope of the license. The period of validity of the endorsement is the same as the license on which it is endorsed, and it may be renewed with the license. This is a 4 hour class.
Auxiliary Sail Endorsement
In order to obtain an endorsement on a Master's License for sail or auxiliary sail vessels, the applicant must submit evidence of 12 months of sea service on sail or auxiliary sail vessels. The required 12 months of service may have been obtained prior to issuance of the master's license. This is a 4 hour class.
