Home
Assistance towing means towing a disabled vessel for consideration. OUPV and Master Licenses may be endorsed for assistance towing. An assistance towing endorsement on a license as master or operator authorizes the holder to engage in assistance towing on any vessel within the scope of the license. The period of validity of the endorsement is the same as the license on which it is endorsed, and it may be renewed with the license.
